Avery loves any Rick Riordan book series, Percy Jackson, The Heroes of Olympus, or Magnus Chase, they are all great. These books are action packed, full of surprises, and witty humour. They are also filled with great information about ancient civilizations. If that’s not your thing, she recommends the Penderwicks series by Jeanne Birdsall. This book series focuses on the adventures of the odd Penderwick family.
